The latest rumor sees Intel ignoring 10nm desktop processors altogether and launching chips based on 7nm process technology in 2022. They could be based on Intel's "revolutionary microprocessor core" currently in the works in Oregon called Ocean Cove. These 7nm chips could be the Meteor Lake-S family.
