The EVM Community Group has been proposed by Boris Mann:The mission of this group is to improve the specification of the Ethereum Virtual Machine, extend it, and promote its adoption for use cases including public & private blockchains and sidechains, trusted computing, and enterprise usage.You are invited to support the creation of this group. Once the group has a total of five supporters, it will be launched and people can join to begin work.
