SourceTree に Homebrew でインストールした Mercurial (Hg) を使わせる

問題設定

SourceTree は内部に Mercurial (Hg) クライアントを持っているが，バージョンが古い場合がある．そこで，外部の Mercurial (Hg) コマンドを使うように設定したい．

用意するもの

  • Mac
  • SourceTree
  • Homebrew

手順

SourceTree, Homebrew はすでにインストールされているものとする．

最新版の Mercurial (Hg) をインストールする

$ brew update
$ brew install mercurial

SourceTree の設定を変更する

SourceTree の Preference を開いて，Mercurial タブを開き "Use System Mercurial" ボタンを押す．

/usr/local/Cellar/mercurial/4.9.1/lib/python2.7/site-packages/mercurial フォルダを指定する．（バージョン番号はインストールされた Mercurial による．）
